There are two different models: conveyor type drainage system and room type system.
A room type drencher is used for washing operations up to 20 pallets per hour, and a conveyor drencher system is used for systems with 20 pallets per hour or more.

How Does It Work?
Drencher systems generally operate using an overhead spray method. As the fruit moves along the conveyor belt, high-pressure nozzles spray water evenly. Optionally, food-safe disinfectant or antifungal solutions can be added to the water.
